Understanding Life at the Molecular Level

The Alder Molecular Biochemistry Laboratory is dedicated to advancing the understanding of biological systems through innovative biochemical research. The lab studies the molecular mechanisms that regulate cellular behavior, protein interactions, metabolic signaling, and disease development across a wide range of biological environments.

Researchers within the laboratory combine experimental biochemistry, structural biology, molecular imaging, and computational analysis to investigate complex biochemical pathways involved in cancer biology, neurodegeneration, metabolic disorders, and cellular stress response. The lab emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and translational science designed to bridge foundational molecular discovery with real-world biomedical applications.

Through partnerships with universities, healthcare institutions, and biotechnology organizations, the Alder Molecular Biochemistry Laboratory supports scientific innovation, student mentorship, and the development of next-generation therapeutic and diagnostic technologies aimed at improving human health.
